Factsheet • Gizmodo was started in 2002 by Peter Rojas • Following grew very steadily until 2011 • Major site redesign for all Gawker Media sites on February 7, 2011 • Readership for Gawker sites dropped by 80% collectively • Numbers still have not fully bounced back • Gizmodo experienced the worst drop • Currently 873,000 Twitter followers • Currently 800,117 Facebook likes
