  2. Read these 4 instructions: a. Imagine the letter Elizabeth writes to her relatives to tell them about whathappened and whatsheisgoing to do. Letter b. Continue the story startingwith: « the followingday, we all got up early… » Narrative c. Does TV bring people together or doesit drive themapart ? Essay / argumentat° d. A teenager tries to convincehis/hermother to buyhim/her an Ipad but sheis not enthusiastic about it. Imagine the conversation. Dialogue • For which one do you have to : • Use Formal English, write an introduction & a conclusion, build up a plan withdifferent parts and use linkwords • Use polite phrases • Use tags, shortenedforms (‘re / ‘s /’d etc…), short answers, and speech verbs • Mainly use pasttense c. a. d. b. Determinetheir type

Beforestartingwritingyoushould: 1) Read carefully the instructions and determine what you are asked to do Describe Tell a story Imagine Explain Justify Compare Giveour opinion Argue a point of view 2) Find the key words, they will help you with your plan and prevent you from being off the point 3) Find the adequate vocabulary, phrases & syntax
