  13. HOW TO HELP YOUR CHILD READ BETTER • Identification, recognition and association of ‘phonic sounds’. • Using word families and rhyming words • Reading aloud from the ‘Reader’. • Oral dictation of words . • Written dictation of words. • Using sight words to build sentences.

  14. CONSTRUCTION OF SENTENCES • Construction of sentences orally. • Copying the sentences from the Blackboard. • Construction of sentences on their own.

  15. COMBINATION SOUNDS • sh – shut, ship, shop, shell cash, fish, rush, etc. • ch - chat, chin, chop, chill bench , lunch etc.
