1. Soft window installation manual Important note: leave vinyl protector on window until the end to avoid scratches Cover all surface inside the car that might damage the vinyl or the window

2. Soft window installation manual • 1- remove targa bar ( held by 4 nuts in the fender well) • 2- remove targa bar head liner • 3- remove covering at the back of the car and side to expose mounting bracket ( rear seat can stay but sides must be removed )

Soft window installation manual • 4- once all the stuff is removed it is time to test fit the kit without the window ( not mandatory but it help to make you at ease with the insertion procedure) • It is very important to screw the receiver on the bar and put the handle in it , other wise it will not fit • 5- the rear bar fit on the outside ,it should look like that

Soft window installation manual • 6- Here come the hard part, you will need the help of a friend or wife, unpack the window and lay it flat on the ground , the zipper goes face down • 7- unzip the window • 8- take the big bar and take a soap bar and rub it on it , not too much • 9- insert the big bar in the channel, ( make sure it faces the right way hole facing down) it goes easy at first , then it get tight, wiggle the bar in with the help of your helper until it is equal on both sides, once all in, make sure the tightness is equal , start from the middle and gently stretch to the ends ( best done both side at the same time ) • 10- insert the rear bar, it goes between the window and the lip ( in the big channel) not the mini channel near the side • 11- now that both bar are inserted screw them together ( we will now pierce the vinyl to add the accessories) and zip it back • 12-while keeping the window stretched locate the hole with a sewing needle • 13- for the top bar , the window seam must be just over where the coupler will be

5. Soft window installation manual • 14- now you are ready to go on the car • 15-unzip the window • 16 install both receiver and put handle in it

6. Soft window installation manual 17- lay on the car so that both hoops are outside the car on one side and both inside on the other

Soft window installation manual • 18 – lower both hoops on the inner side , just enough so that the other side has only the top hoop inside , you will have to gently but forcefully bring it in , about 6 inch • 19 – now you are at the critical step, raise the bar so that it is vertical , and gently push it in the recessed area, ( that is where it pays off to do the trial) on the passenger side , and gently raise the other side , make sure you wiggle the handles so that they go in the hole. • 20- screw the handles in

8. Soft window installation manual • 21-put the spacing sleeve between the inner bar and the body and screw to the outside bar ( its very helpful to have someone help here too)

Soft window installation manual • 22- re zip the window , now its starting to look right • 23- put the 3 special bolt in the rear , at first just 5- 6 turns • 24- with the handles at the release position , push the back of the window down and secure with M6 bolts • 25- put the handle back to the tight position and have a look , release handle again and adjust if necessary, always adjust with the handle in the release position • Et voila
