  4. We have all had this experience, through a variety of journeys and options that present themselves to us. Il mistero di Natale

  5. And it is precisely on the journey of life where the Spirit acts, and in all freedom knocks at the door of every human heart Il mistero di Natale

  6. In one way or another, we have all had the experience of having been travelers, ending up at those days on which we have traveled long distances.

  7. This experience of a journey enlightens us in understanding what it should mean to travel an experience of the Spirit.

  8. Why, what does it mean “to travel an adventure of the Spirit” ?

  9. → Above all, it is a way of INNER LIFE.

  10.   → However, inner life is not only a journey within the person,no matter how good an exercise it may be. For us, as believers, it is a journey of SPIRITUALITY, a spirituality that is cultivated and expressed in a way of which we will later speak.

  11. Jesus Himself traveled an authentic journey of «adventure». Of openess to the Spirit. He always looked for the Father’s Will, that in His Spirit inspired, accompanied, questioned, guided...   12. Don Bosco lived all his life being open to the Spirit, because his desire was that of responding to whatever God asked of him, in himself, and for his boys. He traveled the same journey at Chieri, where his seeking was a true adventure, allowing himself to be guided by the Spirit.

  13. This journey was with him throughout the years, and it led him to that personal harmony and unity, very far from any fragmentation.

  14. It is what happened with the Lord Jesus, with Mary of Nazareth-who lived an adventure of the Spitit that was an entrustment of self to God, without knowing where they would end up, – and in Don Bosco, the «yes» to the Spirit was a real life adventure, with and uncredible challenge. We receive this invitation to set ourselves on a journey of the Spirit each day. In it, we allow ourselves to be accompanied, to lead others, and to be surprised by Him. It is a journey fraught with an «adventure», in in which there are no certainties, but the point of arrival is fascinating !

  15. How does one express and manifest ths journey of inner life and spirituality that allows us to live accompanied by the Spirit ?

  16. → It is expressed through a profound faith experience

  17. → In cultivating the community dimension of that same faith.

  18. → Growing in mercy and int he fraternal dimension of life.

  20. We travel this journey together ! We learn and have experiences together, because this will help us to do good to all. And by «all» , we think of the Salesian Family-in its different expressions-as the priority recipients of the Strenna, but we think also of you, thousands and thousands of young people, who live in every type of country, culture, and Salesian presence, animators of other young people who accompany them on this Adventure, on this journey where we travel accompanied by Him, the Spirit of God who, as we have said, surprises, encourages, provokes, makes us enthusiastic, fascinates, and accompanies us...
