MuCap Update: Progress in Muon Capture and Generalized Parton Distributions

This update highlights recent progress in Muon Capture (MuCap) studies, including developments from Gorringe and Fearing, and the RMC ChPT project. Key experimental results from the 2004 runs at OMC Saclay and TRIUMF are discussed, focusing on precise QCD predictions based on Chiral Perturbation Theory (ChPT). Collaboration with Berkeley colleagues is emphasized, alongside the achievements of the MuCAP team who recently reached the summit of Mt. Shasta, California, underlining their dedication to advancing this crucial field of research.
