  2. Christianityhas been the religion of Abrahamanic monotheistic type. It is related to life along with teachings of the Jesus of Nazareth. The followers are identified as Christians. They have faith that Jesus is Christ who is the Messiah and it has been prophesied in Hebrew Bible. It is known in Old Testament of Christianity. It has been chronicled in our New Testament. This has been regarded as the largest religion of the world. It has approximately 2.4 billion followers as per the report of 2020. In 157 countries, there are Christians.   3. Diversity in Christianity • Christianity has been diverse at the cultural level in the eastern and western branches. There are doctrines associated with the justification along with salvation, christology and ordination. The creeds are associated with Jesus who is regarded as the Son of God. It has been logos incarnated and he had suffered, died, minstered on cross. He had come up from the death bed. The goal was mankind’s salvation. It has been indicated in the gospel. Good news is the meaning of the word gospel. It narrates the life of Jesus. The teachings include 4 canonical gospels includeing Mark, Matthew, John and Luke along with Jewish Old Testament in the background of gospel.

The Eastern Orthodox Church comprises 230 million followers and Oriental Orthodoxy comprises 62 million followers. Orthodoxy combined is 11.9%. There are different efforts in unity which is known as ecumenism. Irrespective of fall in adherence in western world, Christianity is a vital dominant religion in this area.   7. Central Tenet of Christianity • The primary tenet of Christianity involves belief in Jesus in the form of Son of God along with Messiah or Christ. Christians have faith in Jesus, in the form of Messiah, God had anointed him in the form of protector of the mankind. They believe that Jesus has been entering and it creates a lot of satisfaction for prophecies of messianic nature on Old Testament. The concept of Christian messiah is different from present concept of Jews.

  9. Concept of Trinity in Christianity • Trinity indicates teaching a single God includes three unique, co-existing persons eternally. They are  Father,  Son  who is an incarnation of Jesus Christ along with Holy Spirit. The godhead includes the three persons. We do not have any particular term in the Scripture to identify unified Godhead. As per Athanasian Creed, there is Christian belief early statement where it has been said "the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods but one God".Father is devoid of source, Son has been begotten of their Father, while Spirit moves towards Father. As per some christians, God came in the form of Father in  Old Testament and they have emerged as Son in  New Testament and they are going to show as Holy Spirit right now.

It consists of judgement in general when there is dead people ressurecting and a faith of Catholics, Orthodox along with majority of Protestants in the judgment specially for individual soul for their death at the physical level. For liturgical branches , there are Catholicism, Oriental, Eastern or Orthodoxy . There are people who lay down their life in condition of grace. They did commit any mortal sin from God. They have been purified from sinful effect. They carry out purification via intermediate condition of the  purgatory to reach holiness required for entering the presence of God.   13. Rules of Prayer in Christianity • As per Gospel of St Matthew, Lord’s Prayer has been taught by Jesus and this is regarded as the prayer model for the Christians. The Christians practice their prayer three times daily and it has been mentioned in Didache. The timing of prayer is 9 am, then 12 pm and finally 3 pm. • In our second century of the Apostolic Tradition, Christians were instructed by Hippolytus for praying seven times permanently. They are after rising, when you are lighting the lamp in evening, during bedtime and finally at the midnight. The positions of prayer consist of kneeling, prostrations and standing and it is going on since early Church period.

  14. Christianity have followers and they follow the guidance of the Holy Bible. Biblical canon is followed by Christianity along with Old Testament. There is New Testament also.
