  2. Munnar is an epitome of beauty in the Western Ghats of India and there are multitudes of places to visit in Munnar, a pretty charming town in the South Indian subcontinent. Nestled among the famous Annamalai hills, also known as the Elephant Hills, Munnar is nicknamed as the Kashmir of South India, which spans across an area of   557 square kilometres and located in the Idukki district of Kerala. Munnar is located at the meeting point of three rivers namely Mudhirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers. It is not only famous for the layers of hill ranges that you get to witness at a height of 5200 feet in Munnar but the layers of greenery of tea and coffee plantation which shapes the awe- inspiring landscapes.
