STOMP (Students Teaching Open-Mindedness and Pride) is a student-led initiative at Gainesville High School, dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment. The club addresses discrimination and its impacts while promoting tolerance among peers. Throughout the school year, STOMP hosts various events, including a Gay Pride celebration in September/October, a Religious Awareness visit in November/December, African-American Awareness Month in January/February, and Women’s Rights Month in March/April. Students actively engage in teaching others through example, education, community service, and kindness.
