  1. MRCA Spirit Week January 27-31, 2014 Mitchell Road’s Journey – Celebrating 40 Years!

  2. Scholarships for Guatemalan Children As part of our celebration week, we are going to give “presents” instead of receiving. We are raising money for children in Guatemala to attend school in San Andreas, at “Jesus Saves School.” Without our help, many of these children would not be able to attend school. Bring in change and dollars to help make a difference in the lives of these children. For every $5, add a balloon to your classroom!

  3. Competitions: Trivia and Games: We will have trivia questions each day as well as games at lunch. Choose representatives each morning to participate in the games. Trivia questions will be brought to classrooms each morning. The games and their directions will be given out on Friday, January 24th.

  4. Theme Days There is a theme for each day of the week. Dress up to represent the theme. Points are awarded to each class that has 100% participation in dressing up each day. Also, choose the best dressed representative from your classroom to be in the competition at lunch. Winning Classrooms (5th/6th and 7th/8th competitions) : Points awarded for dressing up, winning games and answering trivia correctly. Top winner – 1 week no uniform 2nd place – 3 days no uniform Celebrate and have fun each day!

  5. Monday: Favorite Sport or Team Day

  6. Tuesday- Neon/ Crazy Color Day How colorful will YOUbe?

  7. Wednesday: Twin/triplet day

  8. Thursday: Camo/DUCK dynasty Day CAMO

  9. Friday: 70’s day – celebrate Mitchell Road’s Journey! Pep Rally at 1:30 in the gym!
