  3. Procedures for Registering for an Account 1. Prior to registering for an internet account it is necessary to ensure the following; a. Your company is currently registered with the city. b. All state licenses, insurance and bonds have effective dates.

  4. Procedures for Registering for an Account Log on to City of Galveston at https://eportal.cityofgalveston.org Select the Register for an Accountlink located on the top right side of the web page

  5. Procedures for Registering for an Account 1. Review the General Disclaimer2. Click the check boxon the lower left of the screen3. Click the Continue Registrationbutton on the lower left

  6. Procedures for Registering for an Account • Select the General License type from the drop down field • Enter your city assigned Contractor Number in the field provided. • Click on the Find License Button on the lower left

  7. Procedures for Registering for an Account Click on your Contractor number to proceed and click OK on the pop up window to associate your license to the account. If no number appears, search again ensuring you are typing in the correct contractor number. If your license does not appear on the second try, contact the city permit clerk at 409-797-3620

Procedures for Registering for an Account Enter a user name in this field, (4-32 characters) Enter your primary email address (this is the email address the city will use) Enter your password (8 – 20 characters) Enter your password AGAIN Select a security question from the drop down list Provide an answer to the security question from step #5

  10. Procedures for Registering for an Account Click the Auto-fill check box to auto populate your contact information. Select your preferred Method of Contact from the drop down Click the Continue RegistrationButton to continue registration.

Problems Logging on the ACA • Have you already tried to register – If Yes • Please close all browser windows. • Open a NEW browser window • Type in https://eportal.cityofgalveston.org the “s” is https:// is very important • This should correct the problem • Google Chrome Browser will not work with ACA Before attempting to register please download and read the Training document for electrical/mechanical/plumbing registration as required. TO REGISTER THE CONTRACTORS MUST HAVE THEIR CITY CONTRACTOR # i.e. CONT2002-02 • All of the following must be correct with the city for you to register to use the E-portal • City registration has not expired • Insurance expiration date has not been passed • Bond expiration date is has not pasted Basic Troubleshooting
