Was ist der TCC • initiiert von Alcatel Austria und dem Institut für Kommunikationsnetze (TU Wien) • Gruppe von engagierte Studenten mit überdurchschnittlichem Erfolg im zweiten Studienabschnitt • Interessensschwerpunkt in allen Bereichen der Telekommunikation • Aufbau von intensiven Kontakten zu Wirtschaft und Industriesowie persönlichkeitsbildende und team-orientierte Schwerpunkte

Projekte • Dohuk Online • Internetanbindung einer Universität im Nahen Osten über eine Zweiweg-Satellitenverbindung. • Personal Assistant • Marktrecherche, Interviews (max.mobil, one, Europ Assistance) • Bandwidth Trade • Einarbeitung in das Thema des weltweiten Bandbreitenhandels • Easy Internet at Home • Marktübersicht und Analyse bestehender Systeme

  4. Exkursionen • Tele.ring • One • ZID der Universität Wien • Alcatel – Multimedia Labor • IKN – Prof. van As • Weitere in Planung

  5. „Lessons learnt“ • Organisation • Anfangsschwierigkeiten • Ziel- und Methodenfindung • Verantwortung • Chaos-Management • kreativer Freiraum wichtig, aber kein Management ohne Regeln und Verantwortung • Projekte • Durch lose Organisation hohe Kreativität allerdings gleichzeitig auch beschränkte Durchführbarkeit • Betreuung durch Institut und Alcatel
