  2. The very firs music player • The very first music player was the phonogram • The phonogram was developed in 1877. • Thomas Edison was the inventor of the phonogram . • The phonogram was his trademark even though each recording lasted only one play

  3. Similar ideas • The next to invent a similar music player was Alexander Gram bell • This music player was called the gramophone • This player used wax cylinders • This player could be played many times but each one had to be recorded separately

The next great thing • The inventor of the next great musical invention was Emily Berliner . • This was the next development in music recording that was major. • In 1877 she invented the disk record • She was the first to stop recording on cylinders. the disk were made of things like glass ,zinc and eventually plastic.

  5. Peoples view of music Peoples view of music began to change due to the musical developments that were taking place. In the 50’s people were developing new music styles . Music companies started to catch on and music was the new fashion.

The record player • The record player is the most popular in the 19 century • The record player played music using discs and cylinders. • The record player was invented in 1877 by Thomas Edison, who called his invention of the phonograph • The record player went through many transformations throughout its history. • record players, with the ability to reproduce sound almost entirely free of defects, became common in the 1970’s. • The effect of the record player on music and the music industry was one of the biggest effects on music and its history . • music could finally be preserved over time and not just listened to in the moment. • As the radio became more and more popular it caused a great deal of problems for the record player industry in the 1920s and 1930s. • From the late 1940s preceding the record player grew in popularity again, with higher quality recordings. • Popular music especially came to be dependent on record sales, and even the radio depended on records for their broadcast content.

The Cd player • The CD was first invented in 1969 by Klass Compaan • the CD player did not reach the public marketplace for almost 15 years. • The CD player helped replace audio tape as the most used recording device . • The CD player lead people into the digital age and the arrival of MP3s and MP3 players . • The first CD player was called the CDP-101 and was made by Sony corporation. • The portable CD player was made in 1983 and was called the CD Walkman. • It was nicknamed the "Discman" • In 1984 CD players became available to be installed in cars .

The invention of mp3 players • MP3 player was designed in the early 1990s by The German company Fraunhofer-Gesellshaft • The mp3 player first appeared on the market in 1998. • The first mp3’s had very little storage but the storage developed over time . • Now the production of music player has come a very long way but is not quite finished growing and becoming better.

The last stop • The new found glory is called the I pod it was announced publicly on October 23,2001 by apple computers . • Tony Fadell is mostly credited with the invention of the iPod. • It was invented with another company called PortalPlayer . • The iPod was announced several month after I tunes was released • There are four models of iPods. • Those four models are – • the iPod Touch • iPod nano • iPod Shuffle • iPod Classic • The iPod is the most developed version of the music player . -this is the last stop in my presentation of music players thank you for your time and attention .
