  2. Date of Departure • January 15th -17th • MLK day is the 18th, so we’ll miss some of the crowd in Savannah • Our VP has suggested to use www.hotelplanner.com because of the deals, which we will

  3. Lodging We all want an excellent hotel, but a majority of us will see the hotel mostly through our eye lids (i.e. SLEEEP) and I expect us to really travel around. Because of this, we will be using an economy hotel

  4. The Hotel: Econo Lodge South Savannah THE ROOMS • Perkins restaurant and Savannah Tavern Lounge located in lobby (15% discount) • Micro/fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, and wireless in rooms. • Free tea, coffee, and USA Today

  5. Location of Hotel • Across the street from Henderson Golf Course and Savannah Festival Outlet • Historic Downtown Savannah 15 minutes away – the hotel will arrange a trolley to take us there. • Savannah International Trade and Convention Center and Savannah Civic Center 20-25 min. away. • Tybee Island nearby • Ft. Stewart and Hunter Army Airforce Base 15-30 min. away.

  6. Money $$$ Rates • Weekends: $49.99 / Weekdays: $44.99 USD per night + 13% taxes • Rate includes breakfast. Each room bed type can be arranged individually later. Up to 4 people per room.

  7. Attractions • So far we won’t be traveling together, everyone is an adult, but if groups want to go out together, feel free to do so. • See slide 5 for complete list of attractions.

  8. Whose going? • ONLY 25 PEOPLE!!! D: • FIRST COME FIRST SERVE • Depending on how the rooms break down we will pay at once after collecting individual payment. No refunds after a certain point (due dates for payment will be announced later).
