The Perfect Tense . WITH ETRE. But, some verbs take ETRE as an auxiliary verb in the perfect tense. The tricky thing will be to know which ones they are. The auxiliary verb we use to form the perfect tense is usually AVOIR. Je suis Tu es Il/ elle /on est Nous sommes Vous êtes
