Here are some of the ways in which you can protect it.

  3. When the railing material is new, it comes with chromium that forms a chromium-rich oxide film that protects the railing from corrosion. As time moves on, chromium gets weak thus the oxide layer is unable to protect the railing from corrosion. The damage is extensive if you have installed the unit in salty areas.

  4. To protect your railing from corrosion you should apply a protective layer. There are many products in the market that you can use to do this job. You only need to find the right one for your application.
