This research study, led by Kate Randell and Susan Kennedy, investigates the Keep Well consultation's effectiveness from both patient and professional perspectives. It involves filming consultations to capture interactions, alongside patient questionnaires and staff interviews. The study aims to identify the ease or difficulty of the Keep Well appointments and gather valuable insights. Practices interested in participating can invite the researchers for discussions and agree to film a few appointments, ensuring informed consent from patients. Your involvement can enhance our understanding of this crucial healthcare initiative.

Filming very easy to do, people familiar with it, and gives so much more information
How can you be involved? • Encouraging your practice team to agree to the research • Invite Susan or I to come out to the practice to discuss the project
What would be involved? • Agreeing to have 3-4 appointments filmed • Working with us to send patient letters for their permission and access for filming • Taking part in a short interview to tell the researchers how you felt the consultation went
