  2. 03 de febrero, 2006 http://www.who.int/mediacentre/news/releases/2006/pr06/es/index.html  • La Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) ha propuesto el objetivo mundial de reducir las tasas de mortalidad por enfermedades crónicas en un 2% anual entre 2006 y 2015. • El logro de ese objetivo evitaría más de 8 millones de los 84 millones de muertes previstas por cáncer a lo largo de la próxima década
