TRU v2 production

This document outlines problems encountered with the Bill of Materials (BOM) for the prototype production scheduled for June. Key issues include missing locking clips on specific connectors, substitutions for unavailable LEDs, and discrepancies in component specifications. The prototype budget is estimated at €10,000 for components and an additional €4,000 for PCB production. Delivery times reach approximately 8 weeks for many components, with a need for immediate orders. Assembly timelines and further estimates are yet to be finalized as we prepare for testing in July and August.

  3. CON26P-EHT113_RA_LC,   J2, EHT-113-01-S-D-RA-LC, SAMTEC    • CON50P-EHT125_RA_LC,   J1, EHT-125-01-S-D-RA-LC, SAMTEC RA = Right Angle LC = Locking Clips, shown below Combination not exist (trivial) • TRU v1 same connectors, no locking clips

  4. LED-HSMG-C670 and LED-HSMH-C670 (green and red leds) not available, C170 models available which is used in BoM for yellow led. • TPS744XX_DDPAK-TPS74410, TPS74410 doesn’t exist TPS74401 is the one defined by description • ELCAPTAN_SMD_V-330UF,2.5V, connector C7343POL and part number T520B337M2R5ASE015 defined. The part has different connector, T520V337M2R5ASE015 has correct connector

  5. MIC29301-3.3BU is 3 Amp model, not 5 Amp (copy paste error?) • SO2222A, production ended, MMBT2222ALT1G has almost identical stats and it is used as replacement (Jo Inge checked the stats and says it is ok)

  6. Timetable / Budget

Orders • Many items have ~8 weeks as delivery time • No quote for Epson EG_2121-125MHZ,LVDS yet, which we might have to order a production run from the factory (Yeinternational negotiation with the company) • If we get the orders now we might (Epson chip is the question) be able to do prototypes in June • Current estimate price for components for prototype: 10k€ (includes some items for full production and some paid items)

  8. PCB production • 10 days • Cadmic from Finland cannot give definite price before having more information of the PCB • Estimate 4 k€ from Cadmic

  9. Assembly • Eleone from Finland is intrested in the assembly. They don’t need items in reels, they can do partly manual assembly also on smd resistors and capacitators. • They can also use resistors and capacitators from their own store so we don’t need to order them for prototype production. • No price estimate yet

  10. Overview of Timetable • Orders for components NOW! • 8 weeks of delivery time • We need to be ready by autumn • PCB production takes less than 8 weeks? • No rush yet • Assembly in June or July? • Testing July/August
