  2. Noah was right! Hebrews 11:6-7 1 Peter 3:20-21 2 Peter 2:5 Walked with God and found favor… In an extremely wicked and violent world. A preacher of righteousness… Built the ark to the saving of his house …By which he condemned the world. Genesis 6-9 What was that like?

  3. The challenge of being right: Questions in my head: • How can I be the only one who’s right? • Am I smarter than everybody else? • Better? More diligent? Just lucky? • Would God, really condemn all these? • Am I willing to separate myself from them? "By faith Noah..."

Bringing practical direction to the challenge of being right: Matthew 7 • You are not the judge – v. 1-5 • Use discretion in teaching others – v. 6 • Know that God wants to save all – v. 7-11 • Treat others the way you would like – v.12 • Realize few find the narrow way – v.13-14 • Deceivers demand discernment – v.15-20 • Clear answer about who saved – v. 21-23 • Hear the words & do them – v. 24-27

  5. The burden of faith By faith Noah … moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
