  4. Mission FeCEAV is a non-profit organization that understands education as every citizen’s right and it has as main objective people’s training for their social, personal and working development.

  5. FeCEAVofferspermanenteducationservicestoallthepopulationfrom Valladolid, accesible and adaptedtoeachperson’scircumstances, withitsownmethodology, participative, updated and contrasted .

In Coletivo Cultural Belén we are 310 participants and 3 teachers • Groups to get access to various educational levels: Literacy, Newreaders, Basic Culture I y II. • Prepation for the entry test to get the Secondary Education Certificate. • Workhops( Art, Literature, Artistic Creation y Self-esteem…) • European Projects. • Practicum Social Studies(University of Valladolid)

European bank of memories • Creation artistic workshops • The main objective of this workshop is to keep intellectual and cognitive activity in order to: • Continue learning. • Practise already acquired skills. • Avoid mental inactivity which rusts the tools of the faculties related to the intelligence. • Both the positive attitude and the promotion of self-esteem are recurrent aspects when working in the workshop thus the picture identifying it, is “an open parachute”

Characteristics of the groups Most participants are old women, mainly housewives or with very little working experience. • They feel comfortable in the learning framework. • They need to acknowledge that what they are learning is worthy. • They need to know that what they already know is valued and taken into account. • They have a high level of motivation and participation.

  9. They are bearers of a heap of experiences. • Though they find thier limitations depressing, they can generate favourable attitudes to voluntarily join to processes cpmpleting their education. • They are able to manage their own education; at social and political level, some of them are getting space in the community participation through organisations they belong to.
