  2. What Is Online Banking? Online Banking is a way for consumers to quickly and efficiently handle financial transactions without going to their local bank. In Stephen Rampur’s article, “What is Internet Banking?,” he states, “In this procedure, many financial transactions can be carried out by simply utilizing a computer with Internet connection. Since all you need is access to a computer or a mobile device that has internet capabilities, many people are becoming online bankers.

  3. Things You Need To Bank Online • Bank account number. • Active bank account. • Debit or Credit card number. • Customer User ID and password. • Computer or mobile device with internet access.

  4. Benefits of Online Banking • Consumers do not have to wait in long lines anymore. • Online Banking is “Free.” • It allows you to monitor your account on a daily basis. • Online Banking lets users transfer funds nationally or internationally. • Very eco-friendly, reduces paper usage.

  7. American Bankers Association • In a survey done by the American Bankers Association, they found that out of more than 2,000 adults 62% of them preferred online banking compared t0 36% in 2010. • Only 20% of people wanted to go into the bank. • 8% wanted to use an ATM machine. • 6% used mail.

  11. Why Do I Like Online Banking? Online Banking is very reliable. I can check my account everyday. I don’t have to wait in a long line or deal with rude consumers. Online Banking allows me to pay my bills without any extra fees. There are so many helpful resources with online banking.
