Hawthorne Academy of Health Sciences • Partnership with Carolinas Health Care System providing internships, shadowing, mentoring by Health Professionals. • Partnership with National Academy Foundation (NAF): addresses the critical achievement gap in STEMS fields by developing a pipeline of students prepared to pursue health related degrees and professions in on of the fastest growing sectors of the economy. • Partnership with North Carolina New Schools (NCNS) whose goal is to “Engage all students with powerful approaches to teaching and learning and graduate all students ready for college, careers and life.
