October Identify division and college goals and objectives Complete program review to identify needs September Complete environmental scan* November Develop College-Wide Priorities Cycle begins at start of academic year Develop Faculty & Staff Hiring Plans San Diego Miramar College Planning Cycle Approve planning timeline for following year Submit Discretionary Budget, FTEF Allocation, and Re-assigned Time worksheets to Business Services February May Complete mission statement review (every 2 yrs) Review tentative budget March Update portions of College-Wide Master Plan according to established timeline Review & update strategic plan (Every 3 yrs) April Implement college-wide priorities in resource allocation, decisions, & recommendations Ongoing *Note: Environmental Scan completed in Dec 2009 for 2010-11 planning cycle
