  2. Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

  3. Perhaps Today! ? I want you to know church that Jesus Christ could come this month, or He might come next week, or He could even come…..TODAY.

Matthew 24:3-8 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

  5. Breaking It Down • Verses 4 & 5: Do not be deceived. Many will be! • Today there are many false christs • Today, MANY are deceived • Verses 6 & 7a: You will hear of wars and rumors of wars—DO NOT FEAR! These things MUST come to pass! • Today, turn on Fox News, CNN, or even your evening local news and you will hear of WAR somewhere. • Today, many Christians get troubled over wars, but we are commanded not to be. Scripture says, “These things must be…”

  6. Breaking It Down • Verse 7b & 8: Famines, Pestilences & Earthquakes! • Today there is wide-spread famine in regions of the globe • Today, there are new pestilences affecting crops—look at the honey bee dying… • Today, there are earthquakes in many places

Matthew 24:9-14 9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Ajibo, a very lively young man, used to sing a special song calling everyone when rice was served. It had become a family tradition. And then suddenly, swiftly the singing stopped…

  10. Ajibo Digal Shot for Jesus! Ajibo Digal was standing in front of his house on August 24th totally at peace. He had just completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and was eagerly waiting to be sent out as an evangelist. In fact he was hoping for a posting in Bhopal. Shot after shot sounded. The young man on the threshold of his life fell down dead.

  11. Ajibo Digal Shot for Jesus! Still the religious militants kept on shooting. Then took his body and dragged it through the village. Why did this happen? There appears to be no apparent reason but the fact that through the son they were attacking the father. Ajibo’s father, Dashrath Digal, had been pastoring a Sudra congregation for the past ten years.

  12. I AM A PASTOR. IF JESUS WANTS I WILL DIE FOR HIM. IF JESUS WANTS I WILL LIVE FOR HIM Why did this happen? There appears to be no apparent reason aside from the fact that through the son they were attacking the father. Ajibo’s father, Dashrath Digal, had been pastoring a Sudra congregation for the past ten years.

  13. I AM A PASTOR. IF JESUS WANTS I WILL DIE FOR HIM. IF JESUS WANTS I WILL LIVE FOR HIM There were 40 persons and the language used was KUI, dialect of Oriya, which the tribals use. He has been doing much gospel work in Barakhama Village, Baliguda, Kandhamal. Five months earlier he had been arrested but had just been released on bail.

Matthew 24:36-44 36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Matthew 24:36-44 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
