  2. El Día Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual se celebra el 26 de abril de cada año como una parte del esfuerzo de los países miembros de la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI) para el fomento al conocimiento de los temas relacionados con la propiedad intelectual.

  3. “Como un esfuerzo para dar a conocer al público lo que realmente significa la Propiedad Intelectual, los Estados miembros de la OMPI instauraron en el año 2000 el Día Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual.  La fecha elegida fue el 26 de abril por ser el día en que entró en vigor en 1970 el Convenio que funda la OMPI.” http://www.wipo.int/ip-outreach/es/ipday

  4. El 26 de abril de 2010 la OMPI celebra el 10º aniversario del Día Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual y el 40º aniversario de la entrada en vigor del Convenio que funda la OMPI. El tema para la celebración del Día Mundial de este año será: “La innovación tiende puentes".

  5. El Instituto Nacional del Derecho de Autor invita a tomar consciencia de la importancia de reconocer, respetar y proteger el derecho de autor en México.
