La administración Bush ha decidido modificar el sistema de ejecución de los condenados a muerte mediante la inyección letal y sustituirla por una cámara de gas en la que la muerte es mucho más rápida. Sin embargo, aunque menos tiempo, los expertos dicen que el sufrimiento es infinitamente mayor. Amnistía Internacional está recopilando firmas para que, aunque no se consiga abolir la pena de muerte, se evite este sufrimiento innecesario. Han publicado la foto de la ejecución del primer condenado. Y, desde luego, parece horrible...
