  2. What We Do • Resource for school districts (including nurses) • Assist districts with health related finances • Assist districts with maximizing their Medicaid claim potential • Offer services for billing Medicaid • Branch into student wellness • Assist in building sustainable student health programs to improve academic achievement

  3. Maximizing Medicaid Reimbursement • Vision/Hearing * • ARMAC * • Personal Care * • Therapy (PT, OT, SLP) • SBMH

  4. Vision/Hearing • Every district should be billing for this • If you are replacing a RN, then fax a copy of nursing license to Medicaid at 501-374-0746 and include what the copy of license is for (Vision/Hearing screens for what school district) • If district has not had a RN, then a new Medicaid application will need to be completed and will need to include copy of license and signature sheet (in application) • Applications on our webpage: www.armits.org (contact our office for assistance filling out applications)

  5. ARMAC • Participation – contact me via email to find out who the coordinator for district is if not already enrolled to do this • Online training and post test on our website: www.armits.org

  6. Personal Care • Reimbursement for services already being delivered • Few districts bill for personal care • Districts must fill out Medicaid application for this separately than Vision/Hearing or other services (if they have not already done so)

  7. $$$ for Health services • Funds can be used to support and fund salaries and programs that are health related • Expand student health programs • Implore health practices • Employ new positions related to improving overall health/wellness of ALL students
