  1. YEAR 9 PARIS TRIP 9th – 13th July 2012

  2. Introduction We have decided to let your daughter attend a 5 day trip to Paris in France; during the enrichment week in 2012. Your daughter will be doing a few different things there to enhance her knowledge of Paris and Parisian culture. This will help a lot for her French knowledge and GCSE’s as it is an educational trip as well as a holiday.

  3. Journey to Paris We have decided to take the Euro star so in the morning the girls will be travelling by coach to Ebbsfleet station. They will then travel from there to the Gare Du Nord . We will then have a very short walk to the accommodation we are staying in as the accommodation is right next door.

  4. Accommodation We have decided to let the students stay at a hotel in the centre Paris. Le Regent Montmartre is the hostel that your daughter will be residing it. It is a specialised youth hostel prepared for travellers and tourists from all over the world. It is situated only seconds from the famous Sacre Coeur, Montmartre, Pigalle, le Opera and Gare du Nord are also right around the corner.

  5. Activities We have decided to go to several spectacular French places we have made a little list of the main attractions we will be visiting and things we will be doing: DAY 1: Notre Dame, Ice-breaker an d Team-building DAY 2: Eiffel Tower, Shopping DAY 3: Disneyland Paris DAY 4: Louvre, Disco DAY 5: Les Cars Rouge (Big Bus Tour)

  6. Food Food will be included in the price of the trip and the girls will be able to taste the varieties of French food as they have a traditional French meals for the whole trip to enjoy and learn even more about the culture and the different tastes of France.
