We have these “BOOT” verbs in the present tense only. We wear boots in the present, the here and now!
But in the past they didn’t wear boots. They went barefoot!
In the past preterite tense, “boot” verbs do not exist. PENSAR = to plan PENSAR = to plan
As time went on, some people began to use primitive forms of shoes. Only a few that could afford them (“Hmmm, I can buy those”)! Sandals
