This document discusses the necessary extensions to the Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) to enable Multi-Topology (MT) routing within MPLS networks. These enhancements are crucial for IP networks utilizing MT-aware IGP protocols. The document also outlines the current status of draft-ietf-mpls-ldp-multi-topology-04, incorporating feedback from implementations, updates on error handling, and potential use cases. Final reviews from implementers are anticipated as we prepare for the Last Call. The main goal is to provide stable and efficient MT routing solutions.
