  6. Tone Created • Hrothgar buys loyalty from people and was a well seasoned warrior who grew old and weary. (lines 1225 and 353)Hrothgaris a nice, old and noble king. He is represented as a great conqueror and ruler, shown as a humble king when he says “Heorogar, my older brother and the better man, also a son of half danes had died.”In this quote, Hrothgar admits that his older brother was a better man. (line 61)
