  2. Precious Promises • We live in a blessed nation, but Christians are the most blessed of all • God does not give ordinary promises, but “exceeding great and precious promises” (2 Pet. 1:4) • God does not lie about his promises (2 Cor. 1:20; Tit. 1:2)

  3. Precious Promises Promises of God fulfilled now… • Deliverance (Psa. 50:15) • Love (Jn. 14:21) • Forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38-39) • Limitations to temptation (1 Cor. 10:13)

  4. Precious Promises Promises of God fulfilled now… • Fellow-partakers (Eph. 3:6) • Life in Christ (1 Tim. 4:8; 2 Tim. 1:1) • Providential care (Heb. 13:5; Isa. 41:10) • Answered prayer (1 John 5:14-15)
