  1. Expertise in Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation Define about the Criminal law and Civil law

  2. Criminal law refers to the area of laws and justice that involve prosecution by the government of a person for an act that has been classified as a crime. A “crime” is any act or omission of an act that violates public law—local, state, or federal. Persons convicted of a crime may be incarcerated, fined, or both. Crimes include both felonies (serious offenses), which are usually punishable by imprisonment of a year or more, and misdemeanors (less serious offenses), punishable by less than a year.

  3. Civil law refers to the area of laws and justice for individuals and organizations seeking to resolve legal disputes. Different from criminal law, civil law attempts to right a wrong, honor an agreement, or settle a dispute which has arisen between two or more parties. In civil law, an individual or company brings a complaint to the court (in contrast to the government bringing charges in criminal law) to receive compensation from the person or entity who is the cause of the wrong.
