  4. WE ARE TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY From here, it's possible. Texas Tech University prides itself on being a major comprehensive research university that retains the sense of a smaller liberal arts institution with an enrollment of over 30,000 students. • Created by legislative action in 1923. • The major institution of higher education in a region larger than 46 of the nation’s 50 states. • The campus is home to a major university, law school and medical school.

  5. WE ARE TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY Lubbock, Texas pop. 300,000- • Lubbock Lake Landmark: continuous human habitation for 12,000 – 15,000 yrs. • Texas annually produces about 25% of the entire U.S. crop with over 9,000 square miles of cotton fields! • According to a study released by the non-partisan Bay Area Center for Voting Research, Lubbock is the secondmostconservativecity in the United States.

  6. FROM HERE, IT IS POSSIBLE! “I think of Lubbock as the energy capitol of the world: oil, natural gas, inexpensive coal, biomass, wind and solar. We are water rich. Lubbock sets on a body of water greater in size than the great lakes, the Ogallala Aquifer.” David A. Driskill, AIA, LEED AP
