3. Body Step 1: Use the oval marquee tool to draw a body. Step 2: Fill the circle with the paint bucket tool. Don’t forget to edit the fill with a pattern or gradient. Step 3: Label the layer lock it

4. Pupils and Nose Step 1: Draw a circle using the marquee oval. Step 2: Colour it black Step 3: Select the brush tool. Colour it white or grey and alter the transparency (the lower the number the more transparent) Step 4: Create a shadow. You might need to have a few goes to get it right

5. Don’t forget! • Each time you draw something • Name the layer • Lock it This will allow you to make alterations to separate parts of your image If you do not use layers all parts of your image will be stuck togerher

6. Levels Level 3: I can use fireworks to make my own image Level 4: I can use layers when creating images Level 5: I can use bitmap tools effective including shadows, blurs, gradients

7. Extension If you finish your bitmap pig you should… Give the pig accessories (Hat, hair etc) Add a background Add another animal
