  1. Grunden organisation The The Grunden organisation started as an part of FUB FUB is an parentsorganisation. At 2000 we became our own.

  6. Grunden has a constitution like any other organisation. Some parts of our constitution is special for Grunden. • We want everybody to take part of decisions about their own life • We want people to have the same rights for education, work and living like everybody else • We fight against discrimination and prejudice • We want to change peoples attitudes against people with disabilities

  7. Grunden Media Here people produce • Newspapers and magazines • Radioprograms • Films and movies • Information • Website • And much, much more.

  8. Coffee- shop • Grunden- members make good food for lunchguests. They make bread and pastries. Some evenings they have opened for bingo. • The coffee-shop has recieved a special reward for the good and healthy cooking.

  9. Movie & Webdesign • They make their own movies. • They produce websites both for our own organisation and for others. • Our website is www.grunden.se

  10. Spare-time activities for members We have Open- house two evenings a week. For example we make bread, try grafitti-painting and organise dance- evenings and movienights. We have also our computer and IT- room opened. Two days a week we have horseriding on Islandic horses and sometimes we have a party.

  11. Holiday- travels. Each year we organise travels for about 200 people living in Göteborg. It´s mostly plain tourist- travels but also some travels on a special theme as, womens travels, fishing and music. We try to go only in small groups with not more than 6 persons and two guides.

  12. IT- project about making internet accessible. Klick. Project about relations, love and sex. Easy voting about information for the election to parliament Job- project about getting a real job. Grunden has been recieved many awards and prizes like EU´s (Helios)gold medal for best social integration work. The city of Göteborg award of accessibility. Second prize the Swedish Film Institute for the best short movie. Rose- Mary Dybwad´s reward. Projects

  13. National organisation • We just started the first step to be an national organisation. We have applied for funding from goverment, and hope to start in january 2006. There will be a group of people with disabilities running the service-headquarter in Gothenburg, with help of two coaches. We have to build up 5 regional offices, 1 east,1 west, 2 north and 1 south. We think it´s will take about 3 years to be established.

  14. International • Grunden is known around the world. We have been taken part in several international congresses and meetings. We work together with organisations in the Netherlands and other countries in Europe. • We work in self- advocacy projects in Japan and Chile.
