    3. What Has ADB Committed to Achieve Under the Program? Specific targeted outcomes: 340 million people benefiting from increased investments: 200 million people with access to safe water supply and improved sanitation - 95 million people (47% of target) 100 million people with reduced risk to floods 35 million people (35% of target) 40 million people with more efficient and productive irrigation and drainage services 8 million people (20% of target) IWRM introduced in 25 river basins 24 river basins (96% of target)

    4. What Has ADB Committed to Achieve Under the Program? Target investment level: >$10 billion during the period 2006-2010 or >$2 billion annually - $3.8 billion (38% of target) To leverage additional $8 billion from government and other development partners - $3.6 billion (45% of target)

Our Priorities In addition to: - doubling our lending (now at 38% of target) - benefiting 340 million people (now at 41% of target) - accelerating implementation of IWRM in river basins (now at 96% of target) We need to focus on other strategic priorities, among them: - sanitation and environmental protection (recent sanitation dialogue with 18 countries) - climate change and disaster management
