What is Probation? • Probation is for a designated period of time and may include restrictions or requirements, such as follow-up meetings with the SCA. • During the term of the probation, students cannot work as an RA, Owl Team member, or other leadership positions • In most cases, probation restricts a student from participating in study abroad programs during the length of probation
Mandatory Minimum Alcohol/Drug Sanctions • First Offense • DAO Referral • Probation, 15-20 Weeks • $250.00 fine • Parental Notification(Under 21) • Second Offense • DAO Referral • Probation • $700.00 fine • Parental Notification(Under 21) • Recommendation for Removal from University Residence Hall • Third Offense • Recommendation for removal from Temple University
Medical Amnesty Policy To get immediate help for you or an intoxicated friend, call Campus Safety at 215-204-1234 Students granted Amnesty will not be sanctioned for violating the Student Conduct Code Students granted amnesty will be required to complete DAO Track III with the Tuttleman Counseling Services
