  6. Advertising • On the average the ratio is for every $2 spent on advertising we will gain $40 in revenue. (Wang & Zhang 2008).

  7. Facebook Advertising • “Social ads are an ad from a brand such as Toyota, with a message below that says ‘Joe and 3 of your other friends like Toyota.’ These ads lead to 68% improvement in ad recall and makes people four times likelier to purchase from the brand.” (Geron 2011.)

  8. Layoffs • The average salary of one of our computer applications software engineers is $85,990 annually. (Bureau of Labor Statistics 2009). • Layoff our least effective software engineer and replace them with an intern we would save almost $2750 a month.
