Concept and objectives • NCP project Environment NCPs cooperating to improve their effectiveness • Objectives: • Strengthening the cooperation between NCPs from EU MS by promoting transnational cooperation • Reinforcing international cooperation with NCPs from ICPC with high potential of participation to FP7 • Increasing the number and improving the quality of project proposals submitted to FP7 calls for proposals by a better service offered by NCPs to potential proposers

Overview of work packages: • WP 0: coordination • WP 1: intra European NCP cooperation • WP 2: brokerage events • WP 3: increasing the quality of proposals submitted in response to FP7 calls • WP 4: international cooperation • WP 5: mapping Indian research potential • WP 6: dissemination and communication • WP 7: pan European survey of environment sector

Development and maintenance of the matchmaking software (M5) – report is needed • D 2.2 – Brokerage event in Austria (call 2010) – already uploaded

List of deliverables for 2009 (II): • WP 3 – Catherine Holt (BETA - UK) • D 3.2 – Pre-screening tool (M 12) - achieved • D 3.3 – Questionnaire to evaluate the proposal pre-screening tool (M12) • WP 4 – Marion Tobler (EU RESEARCH - CH) • D 4.2 – 5 annual WP progress report to the project coordinator (M 12) • D 4.3 – a database of international partners including organizations and potential partners made available in a secure way (M12) • D 4.4 – A questionnaire of ICPCs (M5) • D 4.5 – A report with recommendation on ICPC FP7 needs (M10) • D 4.6 – Preparation and distribution of first draft ICPC customized information about FP7 to selected ICPC representatives (M2) • D 4.7 – FP7 ENV training presentations to ICPC representatives meetings (M 12) - ? • D 4.8 – FP7 ENV training events at the offices of ICPC representatives of high potential countries (M12) - ?
