Palliative Care Student Curriculum: Goal Through empathic experiences with patients, families, and providers, students will demonstrate leadership and interprofessional teamwork in the provision of palliative care and/or in the establishment or furthering of palliative care initiatives in their rotation site and within that rural community.

  3. A Different Kind of Rotation • Learner-centered, learner-directed • Students design a rotation based on their: • Health profession • Stage of educational development • Rotation requirements of their school or college • Palliative care services offered at the rotation site • Personal experiences and goals • Individual design of learning activities and assessment
