  3. Why is it necessary? Early child development sets the foundation for lifelong learning, behavior, and health. The experiences children have in early childhood shape the brain and the child's capacity to learn, to get along with others, and to respond to daily stresses and challenges.

  6. IMPORTANCE OF NUTRITION Why is it neccesary? Adequate nutrition is necessary for normal brain development. It lays the foundation for the development of cognitive and socio-emotional skills throughout childhood and adulthood What brain needs? These include protein, energy, certain fats, iron, zinc, copper, iodine, selenium, vitamin A, choline, and folate.
