  3. About our tour of Thursday15/Jan Day 1 Thursday15/Jan Day1* *Group arrives at Singapore Changi Airport Thursday was the first day of our journey .We arrived in Singapore at 2:10pm ,and our Tour Leader was Tam Man Hong .The climate there is hot and humid all year round. The temp is usually 22-33c Humidity 75% (it's extremely hot ). *Met the local guide and representative *Campus Visit at Chinese High School Once we checked out we took a coach to the Chinese High School (CH). We visited the Chinese High School and went around the campus until 5'o clock.

  4. Thursday 15/1 Day 1 * Visit to China Town We went around China Town for 2 hours and we think it's just same like that of the Ladies Market which is located in Mong Kok .Then ,we went to our home stay families at 9:00 pm and had dinner there. we had various dishes for our dinner especially Joyce and Jessica had noodles and fried rice . After dinner , we gave the souvenir to Mr. Yap and Mrs. Yap immediately (home stay parents) then we had our bath and went to bed .

  5. About our tour on Friday & Saturday Friday16/Jan Day2: *Attended lessons at Chinese High School Chinese High School was a boys’ school in Singapore, which is the top three schools there. It is about 29hectares big and it is 85 years old. There were about 2200 students in Chinese High school.

  6. On Friday, we went to Chinese High to have lessons with the Chinese High students. When we arrived at the school, we felt that it was so big. We had English, Geography, History and Art & Design classes with them. During the English lesson, we felt we were so bad in English, because their vocabularies were much stronger. When we went to the Art& Design room, we had to run all the way, because the school was so big.

  7. We felt excited on that day because we didn't know our way and we had to guess how to go, We learnt that we must ask for help if we are not sure or don’t know about things because if we don’t ask, we may lose a chance for learning. The students in Chinese High School were all very friendly and polite. They took us everywhere in the school and they helped us when we needed any help.

  9. *Lunch at school campus After three lessons, we had a long recess for 40 minutes, the boys took us to the canteen to have something to eat, and the canteen was bigger than our school hall. When we went to the canteen, I saw hundreds of students there. And after two lessons, we had lunch in the canteen . *Entrepreneurship programme After lunch we went for the Entrepreneurship programme for three hours, and then we went back to our home families.

  10. *Team Building Activities Saturday17/Jan Day3: *Team Building Program – We had to go to six places and we had to work as a group. IMMFirst, we went to IMM, there was a shopping mall and we all had a piece of durian there. When we got out of IMM, the leader gave each of us an egg and asked us to keep it until we went back to Chinese High school. China TownWe went to the shopping mall in China Town to find out the decorations of Chinese New Year. There were many people buying and selling things for Chinese New Year and it was quiet crowded.

  11. Little IndiaWe went to Little India and we just did one thing there. We asked for the sentence "Have you eaten your lunch?" in Indian words. It was just a very small thing but it was difficult for us because we don't know Indian. Singapore Changi AirportWe went to the Changi Airport, we asked for the date when the airport was opened. The airport in Singapore is quiet beautiful but we liked Hong Kong's more. SentosaWe went to Sentosa and we played group games there. After that, we went back to Chinese High School to have camp fire with the Chinese students.

  12. *Camp fire with Chinese High students When we went back to Chinese High School, it was already about seven o’clock. We all sat there and shared our feelings and had our dinner, after that, we took photos and then went back to home stay families.

  13. About Sunday *Visited NEWATER Visitor Centre At the NEWater visitor centre we learnt many things: (1) how to recycle the water, (2) why the water is so clear……

  14. Visit to the Science Centre *Excursion to Science Centre We went to the Science Museum. There we saw many interesting things and we also saw a film at a Omni-max theatre about space. Christopher our team member said, “I love space very much because it’s very mystical.”

  15. *Sightseeing at Sentosa • We went to Sentosa. In Sentosa we had seen many exhibitions and under water world. In the night, we also had dinner in Sentosa. *Excursion at Sentosa Island : a. Images of Singapore b. Underwater world c. Magical Fountain

  16. Monday19/1 Day 5 Monday was the last day of the tour. First, we visited Jurang Bird Park there were many different kinds of birds. We watched a show there, the show was very spectacular. The birds are very clever and lovely, when the trainers held some meat in their hand, the birds would come to find and eat the meat. The birds can fly very low and we think they could know what the trainers were talking about because the birds could do the things what the trainers said. Then, we went to a Chinese restaurant for our lunch, we felt this meal was the best of all the meals in Singapore that we had, we had little time so we just had fifteen minutes to eat our lunch.

  17. Our departure to Hong Kong Finally, we hurried to Changi Airport and we embarked the plane and came back to Hong Kong at one thirty. We traveled for four hours and arrived in Hong Kong, when we arrived at Hong Kong at about five o’clock, the weather in Hong Kong was different from Singapore.

  18. Our Feeling Of The Tour… This was my first time to Singapore. The people in Singapore are all very friendly, and I like the members in my home stay family very much. I learnt that doing things in a group was very important because each one may have many useful ideas.Jessica

  19. This was my first time to Singapore. I had learnt we should have to team up with the other members when we want to do good projects. The home stay family members were very kind and the students of Chinese High School were very clever and friendly, too! Katy

  20. In the Singapore itinerary I like Sunday best because we had a substantial day. Firstly, we went to NEWater which is the water filter plant in Singapore. Inside NEWater visitor centre I had learnt many things: (1) how to recycle water, (2) why the water is so clear…… Pang Chun had dropped his cap into the water. Although he took back his cap, it was already wet. • Secondly, we went to the Science Museum. There we saw many interesting things and we also saw a film about the space. I love space very much, because it’s very mystical. • Thirdly, we went to Sentosa. In Sentosa we saw many exhibitions and under water world. At night time, we also had dinner in Sentosa. • I love SINGAPORE! Christopher
