  10. Difference in Ryko OptionsVs Autec

  11. Autec Marketing Approach • Revenue Share is main focus • 50/50 split • Minimum monthly payment that includes maintenance cost around $2100.00 per month then revenue split around 20/80%. Percent varies depending on customer.

  12. Marketing Maintenance Approach • Total car care program. • Customer must purchase the car wash. • 2 PM’s per month • Clean bay and equipment. • Parts, labor and chemicals are included. • 15% of gross monthly revenue.

  13. Autec Building Program • Clear, open building design. • Cost 10 to 15% more than traditional construction. • Less construction time means that you car wash is generating revenue quicker. • Increase revenue because of the open look. • Building is bolted to a slab. Therefore, you can depreciate it as equipment, over 5 to 7 years instead of 15 to 20 years.

  14. Autec Wash System Flaws Wash • Cloth does absorb dirt and grime and will scratch surfaces of vehicles. • Cloth is porous, therefore very heavy and does increase maintenance cost and increase damage claims. • Hydraulic fluid becomes absorbed in the cloth and the cloth must be completely replaced once hydraulic fluid leaks. Increasing cost dramatically. • Once cloth becomes contaminated with hydraulic oil and comes in contact with vehicles, there is tremendous cost to clean customers vehicle.

  15. Autec Hydraulic Wash System Flaws Wash • Only roll-over car wash manufacturer in the world that uses liquid hydraulic to control equipment. • Hydraulic oil reacts different as viscosity changes(temperature) and control of brushes may react different enough to cause damage. That is why a heater is recommended for reservoir tank. • Minimum storage tank hold 40 gallons of oil. • Hydraulic hoses and fittings do leak and contaminate water reclaim systems and cloth brushes and effect control of brushes. • When hydraulic oil leaks into reclaim systems, cost to remove and store contaminates and water from reclaims is very expensive. • EPA regulations often come into play.

  16. Autec Wash System Flaws Wash • Double pass wash is recommend, increasing cost and time. • Double pass wash uses 80 gallons of water. • Wash is slow. 75 seconds if you use a stand alone rinse arch. 90 seconds for an onboard rinse. • Machine really has limited customer friendly upgrade options. • Activation systems are from third party limiting options.

  17. Lighthouse Building Flaws • Most of the zoning ordinance in the country will not allow such a building. • Cleaning and keeping glass panels clean is very difficult over time. • Cascading RO water over the glass panels to keep them clean is very costly to operate. • Reclaim water will greatly increase the dirt build up on the glass panels. • Expensive to replace damaged panels. • Heating of car wash bay extremely expensive. • Building mfg. by CCSI international, inc.

  18. Conclusion • Autec is using old technology to run their machine. • Hydraulic oil. • Chain driven drives. • Hardware, nuts, bolts, motors and covers are really not designed for long term operation in the field. • Cloth on brushes. • Quality of wash is a concern that is why a double pass needs to be given.

  19. Conclusion • Front to back or side to side mitter curtains do not produce the best quality wash. • Marketing strategy really is revenue sharing. • Turn key building is most positive aspect of marketing concepts.
