  3. What is SafeLandUSA? SafeLandUSA is a volunteer organization comprised of major and independent operating companies, industry associations, and educators with the purpose of developing a standardized orientation which sets minimum requirements for the US Onshore E&P Industry. SafeLandUSA Mission To monitor and continuously improve orientation standards for the US Land Contractor Community.

Why SafeLandUSA? • Operators share a common contract workforce across the industry with similar requirements. • Redundant information in similar but separate orientations waste valuable time and resources. • Ensures that our workforce has received a high quality basic HSE orientation based upon common, likely industry hazards for US Onshore. • Once completely rolled out, transferrable across the industry

Operator / Industry Expectations U.S. Onshore Contractor Responsibility: SafeLandUSA Orientation: 24 modules, 8 Hours, Comprehensive Test, Photo ID OSHA Required Training, and Trade/ Service Line Specific competencies =================================================================== Operator Responsibility Various Co. Specific Training: PSM Overview, CoW, IIF, Other Co. Specific Requirements Site Specific Orientation: JSEA: Job task and specific hazards at the Job site, Emergency Management, Alarms, Muster Point, SIMOPS, MSDS & Location, Noise, other IH issues, Leadership, stopping the job responsibilities, other as necessary.

  11. SafeLandUSA Advisory Group The SafeLandUSA Advisory Group (SLAG) is a volunteer organization, comprised of voting and advising members of the Upstream Oil & Gas Industry. The Advisory group acts as the oversight committee. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Syllabus development and content, accreditation requirements, quality control review, endorsement of accrediting organizations, and expansion within the industry.
