  1. RADIX Faith

  2. 6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Col 2:6-7

  3. Hebrews 11:6 “Without faith it is impossible to please God. Because anyone who comes to him must believe he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

  4. What Does it Mean to Have Radical Faith?

  5. It’s Believing when you don’t see it…

  6. Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”

  7. It’s Obeying When You Don’t Understand…

  8. Hebrews 11:7 “It was by faith that Noah built an ark to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God who warned him about something that had never happened before.”

  9. Hebrews 11:8 “It was faith that made Abraham obey when God called him to go out to a country that God had promised to him. He left his own country without knowing where he was going.”

  10. It’s Persisting When I Don’t Feel Like It

  11. Hebrews 11:27 “It was by faith Moses left Egypt and was not afraid of the King’s anger. He held to his purposes like man who could see the invisible.”

  12. It’s Speaking it Ahead of Time

  13. Hebrews 11:22 “22 By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions concerning the burial of his bones.

  14. Hebrews 11:3 “By faith we see the world called into existence by God’s word. What we see created by what we don’t see.”

  15. Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.”

  16. Matthew 18:18 “I tell you the truth: whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

  17. Romans 4:12 “I have made you a father of many nations. God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.”

  18. It’s Giving When You Don’t Have it…

  19. Hebrews 11:4 “It was faith that made Abel’s offering to God a better sacrifice than Cain’s. Through his faith God approved of his giving.”

  20. It’s Thanking God in Advance

  21. Hebrews 11:30 “By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days.”

  22. Mark 11:24 “When you pray and ask for something, believe that you’ve received it and then you’ll be given what you ask for.”

  23. Mark 11:24 “When you pray and ask for something, believe that you’ve received it and then you’ll be given what you ask for.”

  24. Hebrews 11:32-40 “What more shall I say? I don’t have time to tell you about Gideon or Barak or Samson or Jephthah or David or Samuel and the prophets who through faith conquered kingdoms and administered justice and gained what was promised.

  25. Hebrews 11:32-40 They shut the mouths of lions, and quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; weakness was turned into strength and they became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.

  26. Hebrews 11:32-40 Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so they might gain a better resurrection

  27. Hebrews 11:32-40 Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison and were stoned. Some were sawed in two and put to death by the sword. There were others who went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated-

  28. Hebrews 11:32-40 the world was not worthy of these people. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground.

  29. Hebrews 11:32-40 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.”

  30. It’s Still Believing Even When I Don’t Get It…

  31. Hebrews 11:39-40 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.”
