  3. A TEXT ABOUT YOUR FAMILY Who do you live with? What´s your mum´s name? What does she do? What is she like? What´s your dad´s name? What does he do? What is he like? What´s your brother´s or your sister´s name? What do they do? What are they like? What do you do with your family? Have you got any pets? Say something about them

A text about your typical weekend/ your favourite day • 1) what´s your favourite day? • 2) what do you do in the morning? • 3) what do you do in the afternoon? • 4) what do you do in the evening? • 5) what are you free-time activities? • 6) what do you do with your friends and family? Where do you go?

  5. Australia Write the most important things about it: the capital city, big cities, people, animals, school and education, things to do and see there... Would you like to visit it? What do you find interesting?

  6. Describing a person Who is your best friend/or who is the person you want to write about (actor, football player...) What does he or she look like? (appearance) What is he or she like? (character) Why are you friends? What do you like about him or her? What does he or she do?

  7. A Film/ A book report What is your favourite book/film? Who are the characters/actors? What is it about? Where and when does it take place? Who is your favourite character/actor? Why do you like the book/film? Follow the steps to write your own film review. Think of a film you have watched. Make notes for each of the questions 3. Write your review using the your notes and the model text. Use some of the words and phrases in bold. Write between 80 and 100 words.

  8. Introduction: give the title and author of the book. If you're reviewing a film mention the director or actors. • Body: 1. Summarize the plot in a few sentences.2. Mention the place and time of the plot.3. Say something about the main characters.4. Say something about the story. • Conclusion: 1. Comment on the book or film. 2. Let others know whether or not you liked the book/film. 3. Why do you like it? Why don't you like it?4. Is the author's style good or bad, is the book / film interesting or boring etc.5. Do you want to recommend the book/film?
