  2. Once upon a time there were an old woman who married an old man, and each other had one daughter.The old man`s daughter was beautiful, hardworking and kind, but she was forced to live the house.

  3. She burst into tears and leaves the house and she walks, and she walks until she sees a very ill dog. • When she sees that poor dog, • the girl takes care of it.

  4. After a while, she sees a beautiful pear –tree full of caterpillars. • The good girl cleans the tree and continues her journey.

  5. Suddenly she sees a very old fountain. The good girl cleans the fountain and goes further.

  6. When she looks on the right, she sees a very destroyed bread-oven. • The girl sticks it with clay and repairs it.

  7. The girl continues her journey until she meets Saint Sunday. • She works for the Saint taking care of her animals.

  8. When she had to leave, “ Saint Sunday” asked her to choose a chest from the attic. The old man`s daughter choose the smallest one , but, to her great surprise, she came back home with a lot of treasures.

  9. The old woman`s girl was very jealous and leaves the house to get a fortune as her stepsister.

  10. On her way she also met the dog, the pear-tree, the fountain and the oven, but she refused to help them.

  11. While she was working for “ Saint Sunday” she didn`t look after her animals properly. However she choose the biggest chest when she had to choose her payment, thinking it was full of money.

  12. The chest wasn`t full of money so, her greed was the cause of her death and her mother`s too. They were killed by some fierce animals locked in the chest she was chosen.
