  2. What is this section about? This section is about dissociative disorders. There are two major parts of disorders. Experiences in your life can lead you to having a disorder. These disorders can last a short period of time or a whole life time.

  3. What is the main idea of this section? The main idea is that people are usually unaware that you have these disorders, which makes people think that they do not need help.

  4. Terms you should know Example:Christine is found wandering the snow covered streets in summer clothes, and she did not know who she was Amnesia-Sudden loss of memory Dissociative disorder-a mental disorder in which a person becomes disconnected from his/ her former identity Trauma- painful physical or emotional experience Example:amnesia or multiple personality disorders Example:Death of a loved one or a car accident hjskfhgjdrsfgkawrnhasjkghsdjkhfgjksdjgklshdajkgsdjklfgnjksdgnjksdnhjkgsjkgjksahjsdkghsjghjsnhgjnhsjkgjsfghshfjshjgsjghhsjkghjsghjsdfjsdhfsdhfjhsjghjsghj

  5. Why it is important? It is important for people to understand these terms to understand how it can affect people in daily life, and how it is triggered (or caused).

  6. Example of Dissociative Disorder Christine was in a car accident, and she lost all memory. She didn’t know who she was, how she got there, or anyone around her. Her family tried to re-teach her the memories and things she lost, but it had no effect on her. She would never be the same again. Christine Accident!!!!!!!! Ahhh!!!

  7. Views on the section I feel that anyone can get affected by this disorder. The strange thing is that when you have a dissociative disorder you don’t know about it. Most of the time you don’t want to get help because you are in denial.

  8. Summary There are two main dissociative disorders, amnesia and multiple personality disorder. Experiences in your own life can lead to these disorders. They can last a life time or not, and sometimes they can not be cured.
